The People's Voice of Washington

Established in 1889, two months before Washington Territories achieved statehood, the Washington State Grange is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of Washington's residents through the spirit of community service and legislative action.

GRANGE ACTION NEEDED!

The Washington State House of Representatives just released the proposed operating budget for July 2017 – June 2019. In it, the Fair fund is completely zeroed out.

The Senate proposed budget released last week included the full $4 million per biennium. The two budgets must be reconciled before legislators can go home.

Washington State Grange policy is to support our agricultural fairs and continued state funding of the fairs program.

Please contact your State Representatives. Tell them how important your fair is to your Grange and the community.
